The United Front headed by Matt George, has just opened a third Goodfoot sneaker boutique in Toronto. This time in the Winona and St. Clair West area. Some of you may be scratching your heads as to why Matt would open a GDFT there. Rest assured there is method to this madness.
The St. Clair location will carry similar stock as the Yorkville location minus Visvim. Currently, it is stocked with some of the newer shoe releases but expect the inventory to fill out in the coming weeks.
For those unaware of the address and phone number for GDFT St. Clair, it can be found in our extensive, yet ever growing shops list on the right.
*Update* Goodfoot has just announced that to celebrate the opening of the St. Clair location they will be having a back-to-school sale and will also have extremely limited stock of Nike's "What The Dunk" Dunk Lows for sale. Cash money only people. Both the sale and WTD release will be a St. Clair exclusive.

Si Vous Play Sports Warehouse Outlet Opening
SVP Sports, the company behind Da Zone and The Vault, brings some love to the East end of Toronto today. Originally scheduled to open later in the year, SVP has debut their newest warehouse outlet inside the Woodside Square Mall (Finch and McCowan) in Scarborough. Like the other stores and outlets under SVP, it will house a gamut of clothing, sports accessories, and of course footwear from the Jordan Brand, Nike, Converse, Vans, Puma, and others.

Battle of the Beat Makers VI
For all the hip-hop heads and beat junkies out there, Sound Supremacy presents the sixth Battle of the Beat Makers at El Mocambo on August 23rd. Doors open at 8:00 PM and the beats start droppin' at 9:30. Tickets are $10.00 for advanced purchase, or $15.00 at the door.
For those interested in listening to what has been coming out of the Battle of the Beat Makers, Sound Supremacy has compiled two beat sampler albums. They are both available for download on the Sound Supremacy website. Check 'em out and hit up El Mocambo on the 23rd. It's gonna be dope.

1 Spot Competition at Adrift
On the 22nd, Adrift Skateshop will be host to the 1 Spot Competition. The $200 cash prize money will be awarded to the best skateboard trick. The competition will be judged by the 5 Boro NYC crew, so you know people are going to bring their A game.
The madness starts at 8:30 PM, but it'll be to your advantage to come down earlier, grab some free food and chop it up with the Adrift fam.

Adidas x Goodfoot ZX 8000 Release Party
International sportswear giant Adidas has teamed up with Canada's own Goodfoot to collaborate on the Adidas ZX 8000 runner. The shoe features a striking colour combination in addition to being environmentally friendly; it uses recycled material developed by the Adidas Grün Project.
This Friday, Goodfoot will host a party to celebrate the release of this project. Us Torontonians, can celebrate with the Goodfoot crew (as well at the T. Dotty crew) at their new Yorkville location at 1200 Bay Street. Expect to be served hors d'oeuvres and dope beats by guest DJs. The party starts at 7 PM and keeps kickin' until 10 PM.
